Who is Soldier's Samaritan anyway?

So I assume that most of you want to know who exactly I am. Well, I'm an ordinary person just like you. I'm not a psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist or "professional" of any kind. All I am and all I try to be is a friend to military service members (doesn't matter which branch you're from) who come home from war and need someone to talk to and be there for them because I realize that many of you feel out of place, alone, or nervous. You went through a traumatizing life and death event, maybe even saw a someone you know get injured or killed, and you suddenly realize that when you're home, nobody really understands what you went through and how you feel now. Doesn't matter where you go, you feel alone and on edge. You're used to having a weapon around you, and perhaps now you don't. That must create a lot of anxiety! Furthermore, it must create an overwhelming feeling of loneliness. I'm here to help you through that because no, you are not alone! There are tons of other people just like you who are experiencing what you feel, but I will still help you individually. I will listen to you and respond like a friend would, and I can be someone you can rely on. I will not break confidentiality, so what you say to me will be only our own business and nobody else's. I will not charge you like a therapist would, therefore I will always be there for you unlike most therapists would when you no longer have the money for their services. I am not a scam, and although all of this may seem hard to believe, I really am just a person wanting to help.

My e-mail is located near the top of this blog if you'd like to e-mail me. Please title your e-mail as "Dear Soldier's Samaritan" so I know it isn't a junk e-mail.

Please keep in mind that because I am not a psychiatrist or doctor of any kind, I cannot recommend nor prescribe medication if that is part of your request. If you would like, however, I can look into local doctors for you to see.
